Our mission

Our mission is to use our collective expertise, strategic leadership, and commercial influence across procurement, contract management, and grants and agreements to help NRW achieve its well-being goals.

We will strive to use our commercial influence and leverage to ensure that NRW secures the best possible value for money from its suppliers, contracts, and funding agreements.

Through the procurement function, Contract Management Support Service (CMSS), and Grants and Agreements team, we will deliver efficient and compliant services, providing timely advice and assurance on contractual and funding matters.

Our collective efforts support NRW in achieving value for money while maintaining high standards of governance and accountability.

We will embrace new technologies and modern approaches to procurement and commercial services, ensuring that our activities are socially responsible and environmentally sustainable.

Through proactive engagement with NRW staff, the Procurement team, CMSS, and Grants and Agreements team will work together to promote the consistent and compliant use of funding mechanisms and commercial processes across the organisation.

This supports NRW’s commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and responsible stewardship of public resources.
