Apply to transfer a radioactive substances permit

Before you apply

An environmental permit is location specific (unless it is for a mobile source). This means that if you sell your premises you can’t take your permit with you and continue the permitted activity at your new location. You will need to transfer your permit to the new owners.

How to apply

On this page you’ll find application forms to transfer all or part of your permit to another person. The application forms can be filled in electronically. You must fill in part A and F and complete the appropriate part D sections and both parties must also sign the declaration in Part F.

Please note

You will need Adobe Version 7 or later to be able to use the electronic forms.

Once you have selected the right parts of the form you only need to fill in the sections of that form which are relevant to your application. However, you will need to go to each section and tick the appropriate boxes which will allow you to move on to the next section.
