Garndolbenmaen Weir refurbishment
Natural Resources Wales gives notice that it proposes to carry out improvement works to the Garndolbenmaen Weir on the Afon Dwyfor in Dolbenmaen (NGR SH 49869 42912). The proposed improvement works will involve the following: surface repairs to the weir, refurbishment of the hut, installation of an eel pass.
Natural Resources Wales considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. Although an environmental statement is not proposed, the scheme design has considered environmental factors associated with the site and incorporated environmental improvements where feasible. The scheme design can viewed from the Natural Resources Wales Office, Maes y Ffynnon Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor, Gwynedd LL57 2DW during the hours of 10:00rs – 16:00 Monday to Friday.
Any person wishing to make representations in relation to the likely environmental effects of the proposed improvement works should do so, in writing, to the address specified below, within 30 days of the date of publication of this notice.
