Visiting during the coronavirus pandemic
How to plan for a safe visit and what to expect...
Looking for inspiration to get out into the great outdoors?
Watch our film about visiting our woodlands and reserves.
We look after woodlands, forests and National Nature Reserves all over Wales.
For information about visiting our places with recreation facilities:
Our visitor facilities include waymarked walking trails, mountain bike trails for riders of all levels and running trails.
Some of our places have accessible trails and facilities, and there is lots to do for families.
To search for an activity at a place near you, go to the map of places to visit and use the “find an activity” filter.

Park responsibly and use the car park – do not park on verges or block emergency access routes.
Take your litter home – protect wildlife and the environment by leaving no trace of your visit.
Keep dogs under control – bag and bin dog poo in any public waste bin or take it home.
See the Countryside Code to find out how you can respect, protect and enjoy the countryside.
Our film features five of our places with recreation facilities.
