Apply to discharge conditions and/or for monitoring approvals of your marine licence

Some marine licences will have conditions that need to be discharged. For example, submitting a construction environment management plan for approval before starting works.

Some licences will have monitoring conditions. These ensure that the activity is not causing a detrimental impact.  For example, submitting monitoring specification or annual monitoring reports for approval.

Fees and charges

You must pay the relevant fees.

Discharge of conditions:

Band 2: One off fixed fee to discharge all conditions on the marine licence. This does not include conditions associated with ongoing monitoring. Payable upfront on the submission of the first condition to be discharged

Band 3: Hourly rate of £120 with no maximum fee. You will be invoiced in arrears.

Monitoring:

Band 2 and 3: you will be charged at the hourly rate of £120 with no maximum fee. You will be invoiced in arrears.

Once we receive your completed form and payment, we'll acknowledge receipt.

Our service levels

  • Discharge of condition band 2 – 6 weeks
  • Monitoring Approval – 8 weeks
  • Discharge of condition band 3 – these vary in complexity. There is no service level agreement timescale
