Help engage people with NNR Management, Health and well-being, community engagement

Key placement tasks:

  • Practical conservation tasks on the NNR e.g. litter picking, fencing, habitat management, site maintenance

A passion for the natural environment

No Driving licence requirements

Assist with managing the NNR sites and Welsh woodland estate on Gower

Oxwich NNR, Nicholston woods, Mill Wood and Park Wood

What knowledge and skills you need

No specific knowledge and skill required. An appreciation for the natural environment and helping to preserve and protect it for the future will be desirable.

Placement Advert Information

To assess your suitability for the placement, we may contact you or ask you to meet us for an informal interview.

If your application is successful, you will be required to complete a Placement Agreement which sets out the responsibilities and expectations for the placement.

If the placement is for six weeks or longer, you will be required to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.
