Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Water Act 2003)

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006 that an application has been made to Natural Resources Wales by Morgan Sindall Limited for a full licence to abstract water from an underground strata between National Grid References SH 58622 60370, SH 58419 60584, SH 58166 60744, SH 57913 60904, SH 57784 61156, SH 57568 61350, SH 57300 61483, SH 57030 61611, SH 56784 61781, SH 56575 61986, SH 56323 62143 and SH 56096 62336 at the Heritage Railway, along Llyn Padarn, Llanberis, Gwynedd. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates and periods for dewatering purposes: 20.8 cubic metres an hour, 500 cubic metres a day and 182,500 cubic metres a year, all year.
