Before you apply

You will need to apply for a bespoke permit if your activity is not exempt and you are unable to meet the criteria of one of our standard rules set. The link Do I need to apply for a permit or register an exemption provides further details.

How to apply

On this page you’ll find application forms for a new bespoke permit and the guidance notes to complete the application forms. You must fill in part A and F and complete the appropriate part B sections.

Once you have selected the right parts of the form you only need to fill in the sections of that form which are relevant to your application.

Timescales

We'll determine your application as soon as is practically possible. If your application for a permit is more complex because of other legislation or planning constraints, or we have particular concerns about the proposal then we may need to agree a different timescale with you.
