The conference facilities at Coed y Brenin Forest Park Visitor Centre offer meeting organisers the best of both worlds.

The visitor centre is located in a peaceful woodland setting in Snowdonia National Park but it is easy to get to, being just eight miles north of Dolgellau on the A470.

Business meetings and social occasions

We welcome delegates for a range of business meetings, corporate events and away days.

The conference room is also an ideal location for social occasions or clubs and society events.

Conference facilities

Named after one of Snowdonia’s most famous mountains, Cader Idris, the conference room holds up to 80 delegates.

The conference room can be divided into two rooms with sufficient acoustic reduction to enable two smaller events to run at the same time.

There is free car parking for all delegates.

Facilities include:

  • Free WIFI
  • Conference phone calling
  • Projector and screen with full audio system
  • Multi-media touch screen

Catering and refreshments

Excellent catering and refreshments can be provided by our onsite café which produces home cooked food using locally sourced produce.

The café can provide a wide range of menu options for your meeting or event.

Alternatively, delegates may purchase food and refreshments from the café on the day.

Activities for conference guests

While at Coed y Brenin, why not give your delegates the chance to try one of the many activities on offer here?

From mountain biking to orienteering and from trail running to geocaching, there is plenty to choose from.

For inspiration, take a look at our film Coed y Brenin – start your adventure.

Delegates don’t even need to bring their own bike as there is a bike hire service at the onsite bike shop, Beics Brenin (advance booking is recommended).
