In a multi-agency operation, Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has joined forces with Gwent Police, Newport City Council and the Home Office to visit a site of mutual interest in Newport.
The site is suspected of illegal activities relating to environmental, planning, licensing and immigration offences.
Evidence was collected from the site and a number of further lines of inquiry are still ongoing.
A spokesperson from NRW said:
“Alongside our partners, we want to make sure that illegal activities do not have a negative effect on our communities or our environment.
“Combining forces in this way has allowed us to address a number of concerns about operations at this site in one go, and safeguard the area for the future.”
