External vacancies are advertised on the Jobs page.
The advert (sometimes referred to as a Contribution Statement) sets out the job location, purpose, specific responsibilities and requirements, and also includes application details including the closing date.
What to do if you are interested in a vacancy
If you are interested in a vacancy and believe you meet the criteria and are suitable for the post, you should:
Step 1: Read the Candidate Guidance
Step 2: Complete an Application Form for the post, in which you need to demonstrate how your skills and experience meet the requirements of the job as described in the advert.
Please make sure you:
- quote the post reference you are applying for
- include all relevant evidence
- submit it electronically to the recruiting manager by the requested date
- make yourself available for interview on the date advertised
