Job Context
Many species and habitats in Wales are in serious decline. You will be part of a local team delivering NRW’s biodiversity and ecosystem resilience strategy, ‘Vital Nature’ and work with partners, including Welsh Government, on specific projects that address the wider “Nature Emergency”. You will need enthusiasm and drive as well as experience of working with partners and stakeholders and have a good knowledge of terrestrial biodiversity. The roles include general place-based roles to deliver conservation management within an area as well as specific habitat focused projects to bring sites into better condition over a wider area. The roles will be focused as follows:

Role Description |

Job Purpose: |
You will work in one of NRW’s Local Teams providing advice relating to the sustainable management of Natura 2000 sites to support the delivery of NRWs Biodiversity and Ecosystem Resilience strategy ‘Vital Nature’. This aims to address the Nature Emergency, reverse biodiversity decline and build ecosystem resilience. This involves working closely with NRW staff, Welsh Government, landowners and partners to deliver management agreements, develop projects, monitor their process and ensure they deliver effectively and on time. |
