Job context
You will be part of the Integrated Workforce North East Wales who have a responsibility for the direct delivery of work on flood defence assets, in National Nature Reserves and in the Welsh Government Woodland Estate. You will provide a maintenance service and deliver a capital work programme for NRW assets which will include Flood risk assets and NRW managed Land. You will provide an appropriate emergency response which means you will be required to be part of a standby rota and provide out of hours cover. You will have the ability to operate equipment such as hand-held tools which may include chainsaws. You will have the ability to operate as a banksman and slinger/signaller and understand technical and utility plans, operating in compliance with the Construction Design and Management Regulations.
