Natural Resources Wales is the enforcement authority for the Reservoirs Act 1975.
There are over 200 regulated reservoirs in Wales and it is our responsibility to make sure that the law is complied with.
The law requires us to report to the Welsh Minister every two years on what we have done as the enforcement authority to ensure reservoir undertakers observe and comply with the law.
It also specifically requires us to report on what we have done to ensure the safety of reservoirs for which we are the undertaker.
Our first biennial report covers the period from Natural Resources Wales' inception in April 2013 to 31 March 2015.
