NRW warning over coastal flooding

Natural Resources Wales is asking people to take care as large waves and high tides could cause some localised flooding around the north Wales coast.

The largest waves are expected to hit the coasts of Denbighshire and Conwy and the north and east of Anglesey early on Tuesday afternoon.

Rick Park, Duty Tactical manager for NRW, said:

“The large waves and spray could affect coastal roads, promenades and some properties during the early part of this afternoon and we are advising people to take care, especially around high tide between 10.30am and 2pm.”

Flood alerts and flood warnings are updated on the Natural Resources Wales website every 15 minutes and are available to view at https://naturalresources.wales/4043.aspx?lang=en
